The software licensing by registration expands the possibilities of using 1C: Enterprise 8. Starting with release 8.2.11 our platform 1C:Enterprise will be distributed also with software registration instead of the hardware key that was used previously. Users of the platform profit from this insofar that installation in complex (e.g. virtualized) environments becomes much easier. Registration is done by direct internet access of the 1C:Enterprise platform to the 1C registration database. If direct internet access is not possible, registration can be done by email. One of the greatest strengths of the 1C:Enterprise platform, its scalability, can be used with less effort with a software registration.
